Meet Dr. Colvard
Originally from Kentucky, Dr. Colvard spent the majority of her life in the Washington, DC area.
She received her medical degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ. In addition, Dr. Colvard has her B.A. (Cum Laude) in Neuroscience from Smith College in Northampton, MA and her A.A. in Science (Magna Cum Laude) from Northern Virginia Community College in Annandale, VA.
Dr. Colvard has always been interested in healthcare and is particularly intrigued by the brain and how our emotional states affect our physical health.
Dr. Colvard loves to use both sides of her brain! She is an athlete – playing competitive softball and volleyball. She is also a singer, dancer, and actor. Her favorite accomplishments are having her own band in the DC area and having acted in a production of “The Vagina Monologues” in MA.
